Not that it matters and they are both great animals. But do you know the scores on them phool? I always just like to know to try and improve my ability to score deer.
Officially no, I don't think either would actually score well but it wouldn't matter a bit to me anyway, they both would look great on the wall.

The second one is tough, Carp.  I remember guessing it at around 180", but it has a bunch of scorable around the bases.

I'm fairly certain Tony's was around 206'.........Definitely deceiving pic.  Someone should be able to correct me but I think outside spread was 34' or 36' and the bases were the size of a beer can.  I Mark had the sheds from the prior year and can verify.  It also had around 11 scoreable points at the bases so it made the score higher than it looks.

Both those bucks are huge.  My buck this year went 28ish and those are a lot wider.   Easily 30" plus bucks.  Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Nice bucks!  No shame in taking those brutes!  Do you have any cool stories about the hunt?  How many days did you spend hunting with that tag?  How hard was it to walk away from other monsters you saw?  I can imagine its quite excruciating deciding when to pull the trigger.  The coolest thing about a governers tag would be the # of days you get to be out there!  I've had the multi tag a couple times and had to almost talk myself into shooting as its hard to punch the tag with so many thrills and memories possibly still out there!  Governers tag would be my experience exponentially multiplied!  Congrats again to the hunter.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Tony didn't have the tag this year which is why the 1st pic is the auction tag buck and why its not Tony. Correct me if I'm off base here.

im positive he had it this year because he had everyone come over to his brothers meat shop next to his compoany shop to look at the horns when he got back from the hunt. i will see if my dad can get a picture of the buck and i will put it up on here. i guess its a cranker.

I know he was hunting with the guy but I didn't think he had the tag.

I could be wrong but that's the way I understood it from a buddy.
