Son's new rifle
« on: December 25, 2012, 06:29:32 PM »

I took my son (8 years old) out to try his new 22 today. It's a Colt M16 SPR 22lr. I picked it up about a week ago from a buddy and gave I to my son this morning. It came with the scope, laser, bipod, case, 4 30 round mags and 2 10 round mags for $400. I never really grew to like the AR in any form, but this thing is pretty fun. Plus the boy absolutely loves it! I threw in a couple of zombie targets to complete the package for him.

The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
