Cableas Dehydrator
« on: December 27, 2012, 08:00:29 PM »
Just picked up a new cabelas dehydrator. Any suggestions for my first batch? I have 4 pounds of deer seasoned with sweet and spicy  already in the fridge. :IBCOOL:

I use the pre mixed stuff, like cabelas brand. It comes out ok to excellent every time. Make sure you cut into thin (1/4" or less) strips.

Soak your fruits (apples, bananas, etc) in lemon juice before dehydrating. They will keep better.  :twocents:
