Lifesize Cougar finished ( Charlies Taxidermy)
« on: December 29, 2012, 12:50:35 AM »
This is my 3rd attempt at doing a lifesize cougar. I hand made all the rocks and added the root that the cat is stepping down on. I did alter the head and gave the cat a turn to the left and brought the head down about 4 inches to give it some attitude. Anyway , enjoy the pics.

Awesome work Charlie!  To me it's all in the eyes for the cats.  If those aren't right, the rest of it doesn't matter.

I don't know squat about all the fine points of taxidermy but I love the attention to detail here. Ruffled belly hair, the ears, and like mentioned earlier by Mark_436....the eyes are awesome!
