Here are the pics of my dads elk.  There are none with him in the clearcut where he shot him because he was a lone ranger for the hunt and had to pack him out to the truck alone.  Tough day.

I think someone with a better program than I have and a lot more talent could really get the elk pictures nice.  The family picture is going to need a lot of work I expect.  With the darkness and the surface texture you'd probably need someone to air brush or recreate pixel by pixel.

On my screen the elk pics do look very nice in B&W.  As mentioned before I expect Moon Photo could really make some B&Ws that would pop!

BTW those are some very neat photos!  I've got some of my grandfather that are not in the best of shape.  I remember looking through his album as far back as kindergarten.  They are some of my most cherished possessions.

If you can scan them you can email them to me and I will work on them. If you don't have a scanner you could either snail mail them to me or go to Walgreens, Kinko's etc and get them scanned to digital. Or meet me in the Tacoma area some day to drop them off.

Well worth it!!!! Thank you for mine!!!!

Hey paz, just wanted to say that's an amazing family picture right there!  Is that 4 generations in that pic? Is that little one you?

You might be able to get a negative made from the image and then you can have them put that to disc or whatever else you want to do with it. Go to a custom photo shop.

Here's a brief attempt at one of the photos.  Is the image you posted the original scan size?

Thank you.  These are pics from only 4 years after my dad moved here from Italy, never hunting big game and just getting started.  The biggest he had shot was rabbits and some kangaroo when he lived in Australia for a few years.  I have now lost my father to cancer but the memories live on as I can share these photos with my young boys.
