Kenai River silvers
« on: September 14, 2008, 12:27:47 PM »
Fish silver on the Kenai river two weekends ago.  There were so many pinks in the river it was hard to weed through the pinks to find silvers.  There are some really nice silvers coming up right now, I lost a couple monsters.

It is way more fun to make those babies rather than pulling them out of the river.   :chuckle:

Looks like a blast and beautiful weather to boot.

Yep its a lot of fun taking her with me.  I think she is starting to enjoy it a little.  I was fishing on some private property near swiftwater park on the middle river.

I got to go steelhead fishing on thursday it was excellent.  I only got to fish for about 3hrs and I hooked 8 all on the fly.  I should've landed more than I did but I broke my 8wt and all I had was my 6wt.  Lets just say I got spanked pretty good by those ocean fresh fish.  Sorry no pics I was solo and I forgot the camera.

Klickchromer don't put it off too long or you will never do it.  I have friends that say they are gonna come up and they still havn't.  Let me know if you are coming up this way.  I would be glad to help.
