well, at least i hit the target. never tried shooting a longbow before, and have done very little compound shooting. i think this is going to have a bit more of a learning curve.

If it's the latter, then you need to change your nocking point, and/or brace height.

If it's the latter, then you need to change your nocking point, and/or brace height. thanks tree killer, changed my nocking point, arrows dont go in that way now. i dont know anybody who shoots trad bows other than my brother who made it for me, and he lives in california. so all my "tech support" comes over phone or email. glad you pointed that out for me. been shooting every day that im home during daylight hours, and getting significantly better groups and shooting from varying distances and angles. im finding that shooting a bare longbow is much more enjoyable than shooting a compound bow with peep sights, pins, releases etc. figure on burning through this insert on the first target in pretty short order
