I would really like a fun bull moose hunt. More so, a moose hunt for my wife, she really wants to harvest one. Sure will be a great day when I get to see her nail one.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I'd like a brown bear. And a stone sheep... and a Bezoar Ibex.

Ok and a Cape buffalo. One of the only African animals I'm interested in. Other than a zebra.

My dream animal is whatever is legal, local and good to eat.  That runs from grouse to deer and elk here in Washington, and included moose and snowshoe hare in Alaska.

Since I voiced my opinion of our horrible elk hunt in BC my final trip for goat up there was cancelled by the outfit.  So I still need to get one of those before I'm too broken. (which might already be too late :chuckle:)  So that probably tops my list.

My grizzly hunt was also cancelled by the BC F&G.  Guess all those big bear I've been seeing up there are 800# blackies as the F&G said there are no more grizzlies in that territory. :bash:

So!  I have just booked a goat/grizzly hunt in the Yukon for 2014.  Hope that can put them both on my list at the same time.  Outfitter is trying to get me to add Stone Sheep.  Guess if the business sells next week I'll add that ;)

The animal I want more than all others is a huge A/Y moose.  I've put off booking a trip for one figuring I'm not yet old enough to take a moose over the high mountain critters yet.  But, I think I'm getting close.  Thinking that will be my 50th birthday present to myself.  That is if I don't die of a stroke on the mountain first.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I heard about an extremely pale cougar roaming around 'way up in the Yellowknife area - it was reportedly almost white.  That's one of the more unique big game animals I've ever heard of, and I'd love to take one like it.

A large, mature Spirit Bear from coastal B.C. would also be pretty cool.

Wild mountain beaver?  Unfortunately, the WDW (wife's department of wild-living) doesn't issue that permit to me.   :chuckle:

My dream animal would be any animal I could harvest on a dream trip. That trip would include my dad and brother and other family and friends, and my kids when they get older, on a pack trip or some remote cabin.  The story of which we can recount over and over and over, like my grandpa did with his stories when I was a kid.  That's my dream.

re hunting in Africa; that's something I personally don't quite get.  I've been to Kenya and Tanzania.  Hunting any large animal on the Serengeti with a rifle would be about as difficult as hunting a steer in the pasture.

Here's a pic from part of my African adventure.

Washington Moose and maybe a Rocky Mountain sheep full curl. wild boar/pig, Pronghorn Antelope.
Not necessarily that order.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
