Good Bye my friend
« on: December 30, 2012, 10:14:36 PM »
It is with a sad and heavy heart that I would like my friends to know that Blue, FC/FTC/AFC/AFTC Tuxedo's Blue Moon MH, has passed on to endless fields of birds. This dog was my pride and joy. He became a Field Champion at 18 months of age, by the age of 5 he was a Field Champion/Amateur Field Champion in both Canada and the U.S.. At age 6 he became a Master Hunter and retired from competition. At 9 he came out of retirement to compete one last time to run in Open Gun Dog at the Montana GSP field trial where he won the event beating his nephew who took second place. ( to be the best you have to beat the best and Wilson could not do it). Blue spent his retirement guiding hunters on the Rocky Boy Reservation of North Central Montana doing what he loved best, hunting wild Pheasants.
Good Bye my dear friend you shall be forever missed and always in my heart.

Sorry for your loss...its never easy.

Very Sorry Richard. I know how special he was to you. I'm glad I had the honor of meeting him and scratching his ears a few times-

Sorry for your loss.

A good looking dog with a nice set of achievements to go with it. Sorry about your loss.

I suspect I'll always own at least one Pointer.
