Foxpro howling questions
« on: December 31, 2012, 07:44:19 AM »
So I went hunting all day Friday with the Foxpro and I was trying to use the calls together and was hoping for some of your knowledge with the howls.
I was using distress then would throw in a howl, but would a female coyote do a bark howl while getting a rabbit? A long howl?  Or should I stay away from certain combinations?
And I'm used to hand calling, but with the electronic caller do you let the call run the whole time you're on stand? Or do you let it run for a minute then mute for a couple then repeat?
I did get one on Friday but it wasn't from calling...it was in route from one area to another.
Thanks for all your help and making this such a cool website!
