Anyone else hear the guy who posing with the second bear say "it was an exciting hunt yesterday"? Apparently it takes a while to find a black bear after you shoot it at 750 yds at dusk. I will openly admit that it's better shooting than I could pull off. I just couldn't get into and question it ethically for this very reason.
I agree with BLRman, it looked like they hit it in the neck to me? That's close to a foot high and a foot to the left. You have to be one hell of a shot to do a follow up on a running wounded bear at 700yds.
Video does get me looking forward to spring bear though. I just don't plan on setting any world records on distance shooting and I hope that videos like this don't motivate the average hunter to start lobbing lead at animals because they saw some guys do it on Youtube. These guys obviouslly had the equipment and the basic know how to hunt like this. I think 200yds will work for me though, if I end up getting to hunt spring bear.
