Just go buy the special permit and apply on line....you get drawn you go in and buy the tag.....at least thats how I understand it. You can PM Ripper or Drock.....they have both drawn in the past.

What gets me is, we already have a hunting license until March, so why does the WDFW make us buy a 2013 tag before we can apply for a spring bear tag ? It's to generate more revenue. Total BS in my mind.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

You could not hunt a 2013 spring bear without a 2013 license.

How does the land access thing work for the north skagit draw? I want to apply but not sure how the land access works?

Yes, this years (or last) has the 2013-14 spring tag numbers in it.

Really?  So you're wanting to get drawn to hunt bears and use last years license?  Gotta be a better reason to rag on WDFW than that?
