I'm chomping at the bit to draw my first spring tag. I think I will be going in with 3 pts, maybe another year or two and I'll get it! Always a chance this year

I put my app in a few day's ago. I'm hoping for 2 draws in a row. After last years learning curve I think I have a much better chance this time. That being said, if anyone else who get's drawn for Monroe want's some help, let me know. I'll grab H2O and/or D-Rock and we'll give you a hand. H2O, D-Rock, when's the next poker game?

question on group draw

Say I got 5 points and made myself group leader, and a person who has no points decides to join and enters my wild ID# and passcode and joins my group.

Will my 5 points help them?  Or will their 0 points hinder me?

If you currently have 5 points, when you apply your count will go to 6 and your buddy will have 1 when he submits his application.  I believe they will combine your points then use an average for your application.  I don't know if they will round-up to 4 points or down to three though, since your average would be 3.5.

I am so ready to draw! This year is 6 pts for me I believe, never drawn a single tag in 5 past years. Just getting my 300 WSM setup too, it would be a mighty good year to put the hammer down on a bruin.

Can someone help in pointing me to where exactly on the wdfw site we apply? I purchased all my hunting tags about a month ago, when I login to "purchase" anything else I just have the generic fishing and hunting crap listed to buy, but no listing for spring bear application? You would think sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day would make me more tech savvy... I guess not   :chuckle:  :dunno:

If you've already gone here:
https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/
and purchased a spring bear application, you need to go here:
https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/wdfw/special_permits.html
and click on the tab on the right, called "Submit Application"
This tab will show you what you have purchased and are ready to submit. If there is nothing to submit, you have not purchased the application yet, and need to buy it.

Averages round up. A group application with 6 and 1 point applicants will have 4 points.
