The G5 studs are a neat little gadget. For speed increase it is all about their relation to the cam and the A2A length. They can also help in rotating the peep if it rotates slightly. Quite nice if you are not close to a proshop when your string creeps a little - common in rain, high humidity with 8125. If your bow originally came with speed buttons, but your new string replacement omitted them it brings the string back to near factory speed. If nothing else they are a bunch of fun to play with
Will they make a difference when shooting at an animal? No! Will they make you feel better when shooting through a chrony? - usually. Since most people worry more about how their bow shoots through the chrony than how many animals it puts on the ground it might be an accessory to look at. I personally do not use them, but they were definitely worth the money to play around with. You learn alot about how your bow works while playing with them. And there is never anything wrong with having a better understanding of how your weapon works.
As far as the G5 peep...Why would you shoot anything other than a RAD peep?
