Snowy Chucker Hunt

Well was able to get into a few. The snow was deep and birds were jumping up early. There was 2 cubys that held were under the sage brush I shot 4 times and got 3 bird nit to bad for a night hunt. Just to ley every one know I did not shot these on the nature land it was just were my truck was parked but it did make a good pic

Hunted the Umtanum area over the weekend and the deep snow in places was really exhausting.  Postholing up and down canyons is not recommended without snowshoes.

Any luck up there. We were there a few weeks ago. Thick stuff and lots of work.
