SR1911CMD
« on: January 08, 2013, 04:57:32 PM »
Went looking for a SR1911 today and found one. Then sitting in the back they had the new SR1911CMD. Really sweet gun. Can't wait to shoot it!!! :IBCOOL:

Anyone else own one or shot one. I know they just came out.

I have the SR1911 and love the gun.  I had no idea they were making a commander series. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

I didn't either until I was down at the shop.  Glad I stopped in.  I  guess Ruger started shipping them last week from what i see online.

Maybe that's why it's been so hard to find the 5 inch. They slowed production to come out with the commander model.  :dunno:  oh well, I got mine. Let us know what you think when you hit the range.

Hoping to shoot it this weekend.  They still have a 5 inch sitting down there.  $699, not a bad price.  I paid $729 for the Commander, less barrel, but more money :dunno:

If any one is interested, hit me up and I'll let you know who has it.

They also had a DPMS Oracle 7.62 but jacked the price up to $2250.  From what I see online the MSRP is $1899.
