Both buffer tubes will work.  The commercial is slightly bigger diameter tube, but the threads are the exact same.  The commerical tube is not cut at at a 90 degree and the mil spec is.  Google it so you can see the picture.  The only thing that matters is knowing which one you have so if you buy another butt stock you buy the correct one.

A fixed stock is the best way to go on the ar-10 platforms. I also suggest the PRS. If you want to go a little less $ get a full size ACE stock. Both will need a full length rifle buffer tubes.

Actually, optics aside the only thing I have really done are the Magpul PRS stock and the ergo palm rest grip.  I see you have the exact same rifle, that PRS balances out the barrel really well, and it's about a 5min install.

The optics were the biggest chunk of change I have put into it.

Timney trigger is in the mail, threading, muzzle break and barrel cerakote in probably 2 weeks or so and a year or so from now I can get a suppressor for it approved.

What's a good collapsible stock, that has a raised pad on it if i wanna use a high scope, but be able to rest my cheek on it when firing?
I hope i worded that right.
There's more than one way to skin a cat, but that cat won't like any of them...
