The town is probably going to hate me for it but if you are looking for the small town atmosphere and yet close to the malls and such give Waterville a looksee 20 minutes north of Wenatchee

Dump truck is the easiest work I have ever done. And I have done flat, hopper ,food grade tanker, fuel, refer, wrecker, doubles, super B, container, cattle, log, oversize, drop deck. Wow..... Im even impressing myself.... Ha.... OTR is the worst. The only way you can make money is to be gone... Its no life for a person that wants to have a family...

I gotta ask, have you ever driven a dump truck and pup in downtown Seattle working with union boys when you're not union ?  :chuckle: It's very hard to drive a dump truck/pup because it's a precision job.  Most guys can't do it, especially over the road drivers.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I have had plenty of experience with the dark side of seattle traffic. Started in 83 working out of tacoma going to the long shoreman controlled piers. I hated it. Hauled produce to the markets . Pulled mobile MRI trailers and spotted them at clinics and hospitals. Those parking lots are not designed at all for 48 ft trailers. At least with dump trucks they seem to get you in and out as fast as possible. But then again I am on the east side of the state and the union controlled aspect is not as strong. It seems that everyone is much happier the farther away you get from the cities. I love the REZ......

I had to go back to "Hell " and work after I sold my trucks over here. I worked for a high rollin' outfit out of Maple Valley. 45 dump trucks. We couldn't stop for anything, money, money, money is all the owner was concerned about. Made really good money.  I worked on projects like Microsoft, Boeing/Pane Field, SeaTac airport, 1-5 in Everett just to name a few. I feel our pain working over there.

You might wanna check out Newport. Your less then a mile from Idaho and you have deer and Elk in your back yard. Great place to live.

I'd pick Newport or Chewelah, both only an hour from Spokane, good communities with deer AND elk.

Walla Walla isn't a bad idea either.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
