Walked into the Wenatchee Walmart today and scored a M4 carbine for 799.00. Didn't need it but I figured I just couldn't pass on it at that price.

Was talking with my bro in law in Illinois....that rifle goes for about $2500 there and that is IF you can find one.

Nice buy there. I am sooo tempted to buy one of my own given all the talk of gun bans....keep telling myself it's an unjustified panic response like all the people buying pallets of ammo when Obama got elected the first time. I really hope that ends up being the case this time as well.

It took over a year for supplys of primers, brass, powder, ammo to get back to normal last time.  With primers being the biggest issue.  Hope thats not the case this time.  The panic is from guys who dont have a years supply on hand.

I'm trying to decide if I should do comething similar. Found an M&P 15/22 today. I don't really need it, but thought it might be fun to plink with. My buddy said I should get it cause even those are getting hard to find. What do you guys think?
