« on: September 17, 2008, 08:02:12 PM »
Headin down to Mossyrock in November and just seeing if anybody could lead me in the right direction. I'm muzzleloader hunting and my buddy is bow hunting but haven't hunted that unit. Feel free to send me a message or email me if you want to keep your spot on the down low :) ;). We are headin down a couple times before the season but any info helps!!! Thanks

don't waste your time coming to the mossyrock unit, i'd hunt ryderwood. there are very few elk in the mossyrock unit, and most of those are on private property in november. you will see way more people than elk.

You can hunt anytime during the general season in which you have a tag for (modern firearm, muzzleloader, or archery.)  Does that help? Not sure I understand your question.

+1

I live near mossyrock.  The small part of the unit that is not private gets hunted harder than any place I know of.  I honestly would not waste my time.

If you want to hunt Mossyrock, hunt archery and hunt early and it STILL will have more people than elk but at least they won't be scarey spooky yet.
