i couldnt make much sense of your last post, so i will simply restate my position in the simplest of terms.  i feel that we need to take steps to keep crazy people from buying guns, and that any venue responsible for selling guns to anonymous parties is being irresponsible.  not saying THAT specific gun show is guilty of this

All the shows under "Washington Arms Collectors" are the same deaner. You need to just go for yourself before you attack these people, know the process. They (most) are some of the nicest people you can meet.

If you look for a nut, I am sure you could find one somewhere. But I'd doubt a criminals buffet buying guns.

You may want to read their rules before you rant about gun shows. Not just anyone can buy a gun at the show, and in our state there is a record of you.
As I remember there was a case in Puyallup Show  where some questionable people  where tying to buy guns/join and were denied because they were known gang members to the police.
http://www.washingtonarmscollectors.org/rulesofroad.shtml

6  Firearm sales to - or purchases from - non-members or persons prohibited by law from firearms ownership/possession are totally forbidden. Violation will lead to immediate and permanent expulsion as a member of WAC.

You can't buy a gun at a WAC show unless you are a WAC member. To be a member you get a background check.

So you say you have knowledge of two drug dealers that bought guns. Did you report that to any authorities? Pretty hypocritical to fail to report a federal firearms violation that you have knowledge of but now you want more regulation on law abiding citizens.

I have never been able to buy a gun at any gun show I have been at without a background check through the host.  You are falling prey to the narrative being set-up by the left turning you against your fellow gun owners.  I think you should go to the next gunshow you see advertised, and try to buy a gun without registering I think you will find you will be escorted out with due dilligence.  FYI I have never felt safer than I have at a gun show.

i know two people, both drug dealers, who bought guns at gun shows and paid too much.... just so that they could buy them under the table..... thats real life experience making my point

Are you saying it is O.K. for these two drug dealer "acquaintances" of yours to purchase firearms at a gun show because they are not Mentally Ill?  Otherwise you would have reported there Illegal activity to the proper authorities.   right?     :dunno:

Play this out to its "logical" conclusion. If everyone had to register their firearms and be licensed by our loving and protective govt we could assure that no drug dealers or nut jobs are in possession of a gun. We have thousands of gun laws on the books. Enforce them effectively and evenly. You and your reasonable regulations can stay clear of my rights.

I'm a WAC member and buy and sell all the time. If you don't think sales happen without being a member you are kidding yourself. Happens all the time at every show. Walk up to a table and make an offer, tell them you are not a member but will pay cash after the show as a face to face sell. I don't do it, but have seen it happen more times than I can count.

I am sorry to hear that I have personally seen allot of people turned away asking similar questions.  If you are seeing this are you reporting this to WAC? It would be unfortunate to not report this, and see an orginization I support get a tarnished reputation because members are not being vigilant about policing themselves.

No they are not, but if vendors are setting them up at the show that would be against the WACs rules I am guessing which would result in the vendor not being able to get a table at future shows.

Ok! So I'm not a member of the WAC, but I do have a CCL so can I but if I'm on the coast and go to a show?
If it's a dealer they will run a backround on me?

I'm confused! Why do I have to be a member to purchase a item from a licensed dealer at a show? When they are going to run a backround on me to buy? That's like joining a local gun club to buy from a gun shop on the coast.
I paid my admission to gain entrance to the show and I found a item I want. Haven't I already gained entrance.
