Looking for new compact lt wt binocs

I now have a pair of nikon 7x20 compact binocs that wiegh in at 7oz but I would like 10 or 12x 25 is there anything out there of similar wt for under 150 bucks that compares to nikon?

I would guess there is but I'm not familiar with any that I can point you to specifically. You may want to consider, with the size of objective you talking about, going with a lower power. 8 would likely be a better choice. Even with larger 40/42 mm objectives 10s are about as much as the eye can handle. In the price range you're looking at you're not likely to be getting high end glass or coatings which is going to compound the issue too.

I've heard good things about the Minox 6.5x32. As others have said, a 25mm objective lens won't work well at 10 or 12x magnification. A 10x25 or 12x25 would be almost useless for hunting.

looks like that zen-ray company has some 10x32 binocs,might see if ray can get you a pair to field test
