Zen-Ray Optics
« on: September 19, 2008, 06:34:21 AM »
Zen-Ray optics has decided to sponsor our forum. I would like to introduce Charles as username ZRS-8x42. He can answer any questions about their equipment. Including spotting scopes or binoculars. We will be receiving some binoculars to test and review in the near future. I will receive them and then we can work out a system to get them handed off to some users here in order to generate some feedback about the product. In addition to that we will also auction off a set of their binoculars in the near future.

Thanks Charles.

Ray, thank you so much for offering this great opportunity so we can support and participate this great forum. Since we are relatively a new name to Hunting community, I will write up a brief description on our products and company later this week. In mean time, please feel free to ask question on the forum or PM me.

Cheer.

Charles

Andrew and Dekuma, thanks for the comments.  Yes, I am very proud of the optical performance from VISTA and upcoming ZRS.  Of course, this has to be validated by the fellow members. We do have scopes in design that is slated for second half of 2009.  Given so many brands on the market right now, we have to work extra hard to come up with a final product that can stand out for its quality and price. I will keep you posted with the progress on that front.

Welcome aboard.  I have considered an upgrade to my Leupy VX-I but other more pressing costs are a bit higher priority. You've got your work cut out for you to exceed Leupold's excellent customer service.  Best luck with sales.

I am with Bucklucky.  I would love to be a guniea pig.  I seem to be hard on stuff, but mostly on my scopes.  My nikon binoculars have held up well to being tossed in my bag and in the truck, but I have just never been happy with them.

Bucklucky/Dekuma/andrew, thanks a lot for volunteering. I will work out a system with Ray and mods so we can pass a pair or two binoculars for members to review. Details should come out this coming week. The first one available will be VISTA.  What kind of binocs do you guys use now?  Another informal survey will be which size do you use? 8x42? 10x42 or 12x50? 12x56?

I currently use Nikon 10x25 I bout for $300 about 8 years ago.  They seemed great when I bought them, but after seeing the new Nikon ATB, I was going to buy a set of those.  Would be great to check out what you have to offer.

Thanks for the welcoming. All 2009 VISTA, SEDONA and upcoming ZRS carry limited lifetime warranty (they are the new models we have available now). You can find the warranty information here http://www.zen-ray.com/warranty.shtml

Be sure to also check out the 2009 ZRS series which should be available to the end of this year.
