Had to look up the stats...  80 lbs 30 inches 340 fps 430 arrow grains KE 111lbs
Some of you may not know it but the Omen has the WHOLE draw weight until you hit the wall (all the way back on the draw) so you draw 80lbs the whole 29.5 in... That is unlike nearly every other bow.

22.5" of near peak power stroke!  Makes you wonder why you would want it in 80#.  Unless you just wanted to make sure no one else wanted to shoot it. ;)  Pretty dang cool!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

It was donated by a shop that special ordered it for some one and decided they didn't want it.  :bash: Guess they wern't man enough after all!  :chuckle: I'm Happy Mark won it in the raffle since he was likely the only person who would shoot it as is. I talked to him the other day about the bow. He says he has to limit his shooting to 60 arrows. Then he goes down to his "light" bow at 73lbs!  :yike:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

my buddy has an omen in 80lbs...Every thing he does is to the extreme, including that bow. I cant even pull it back. Having said that he was flinging a 450 grain arrow 330 fps (or there abouts) and against my advice, he chose to tip them with a schwacker expandable. 30 yard shot at a spike elk I called in, hit dead in the shoulder, 3 inches of penetration and that broadhead sheared right off. I was not happy to say the least.

It's fast enough and packs enough punch to knock down whatever I have shot at.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.
