Well, at least there is one sane person in NY.  Gives you a little hope, doesn't it?

I'll never figure out how the *censored* bags in power can possibly think that regulating good honest people will reduce violence in America while ignoring the real problems created by government overspending, entitlements and unwillingness to enforce the laws that regulate the corrupt and dishonest within our society.

The highest violence rate in America occurred in the late 20's.  Do a simple Wiki search of 1929.  It's scary to see the similarities between then and now (worldwide).  Violence is directly effected by the state of the economy in America more than any other factor.  And yet we are now concentrating more on guns in the hands of good American's than the debt and over spending in states as well as Washington DC.  They are trying to increase taxes and raise the debt ceiling for no other reason than to further increase their spending.  No where is there recent talks about jobs or helping businesses prosper to the point of giving their employees more.  It's all about spending, power and control leaving many Americans with little hope just as was the case in 1929.  No attempt to curb gun violence by regulating good people is going to change that.  Period.

We need more soldiers in the political fight like Sen Ball.  We need more people with common sense and courage like him.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Didnt the woman in Georgia shoot the suspect with a handgun.  I dont see handguns on the to be banded list.  So is this guy blowing smoke?  I would prefer an example of how having an AR15, AK47 or any of the guns on the band list having  saved someones life rather than try and imply it.  Actually I dont know of any examples of this??  I am sure if there were examples of this it would have been brought up by someone by now  :dunno:

You are right and there are banned handguns on the list that I saw.  Plus that list isn't everything banned just a short list of some to help people figure out the new regs.

7 round limit on a handgun?  Now that is funny.  I do swing to the left a bit, but even that makes me chuckle if true.

Its true and its law.  Residents now have one year to sell any mags that hold more than 7 out of state.  If one is found in your home, its a misdemenor.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
