I have owned a 1969 olds 442, 1969 chevelle ss396, and a 1957 willies wagon. I think the olds with the 455 was the best, that thing could flat destroy a set of tires. I would like a 1970.5 comaro z28.I'm sure just before I retire I will treat myself to a new corvette.

Thats about what he paid for it new. Sure it would be worth a few hundred K now.OH YEAH BABY! 1969 was THE YEAR for the juice. I cant think of a hot '69 i didnt ride or drive back in the day. Man; if the kids today could experience that stuff. You could buy an asphalt tearin road stripper for 5 - 6 grand.
When I hear about the cars my dad and uncle had and got rid of before I was born, makes me want to cry.
