What do trappers/hunters and antis have in common?
« on: January 18, 2013, 06:07:20 PM »

I Have an idea floating around in my head (that space between my ears), it goes something like this.

A Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife representative has a meeting with an anti group to discuss some issue. The Fish and Wildlife guy basically tells the antis what he thinks they want to hear. He's kind of afraid to upset them. The antis think he's just b.s'n them; they have no respect for him or the Department.

Anyone else ever have this impression, or is it just me?

Hey Wags,
this is Darryl....I was just thinking lately that the Dept. is so different than say 10 yrs ago.  We used to have a good working relationship with them.  The top down guys are the problem
its seems.  One guy in particular has always wanted to please the powers that be and climb the ranks. We were sold out by him and others during the 713 fight....they left us hanging.  We just don't represent a threat so we are ignored or given lip service at best.  The antis are probably in the same boat.

Mark, you have them figured out.
I decided a long time ago their motto ought to be something like:
Don't make waves; Keep a low profile; Put in my time; Draw my pay; retire; collect pension.
