I don't think westsiders should have a vote on eastern Washington wolf problems, especially Seattle hippie, treehugger, maggots.

I don't think you should lump all westsiders together as not having a vote.

Trapper,  Thank you for going and posting about the meeting.

Reread my post, spells it out.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

would you include yourself in that statement? Since you're from the Westside???

Grow up......you always bring that up and has nothing to do with me since I don't live on the westside.

I did. It says "I don't think westsiders should have a vote on eastern Washington wolf problems, especially Seattle hippie, treehugger, maggots." You didn't exclude, you just added especially to a certain group.

what are the 3 new "confirmed" packs?

strawberry,ni'icn and huckleberry I believe ?

So, how many confirmed packs in WA now? Still 8 or has it grown?

If it's that important to you that there is no liberal input into wolf management, then you should probably look at moving to Wyoming.

Here we go again. Picking apart a statement to start a fight so you westsiders can control the eastside wolf problems. I stand by my post and could care less what you guys think or say.

Some of us (or a lot of us) westsiders have owned property in eastern WA. for many, many years Campmeat. Probably longer then you have lived on the east side. That is what I am trying to say. Where we live does not change how we think.

Now, does anyone know how many packs are they confirming now. Last I heard it was 8 although there were 5 black wolves seen just down the road frrom my place (another thread) recently.

how is that the wdfw can use traps a silver lining? the general public isn't ever going to get to use em!

They made it pretty clear at the wolf meeting that once the recovery goals are met, there will then have to be a general wolf season, and they should be managed the same as all other hunted wildlife. they made it a point that you can't just manage for individual animals (the one that's killing livestock for example). So my point is: If the WDFW can use steel traps in a humane manner to capture wolves for collaring, then they sure can't use the excuse that those same traps aren't humane if us trappers are using them.

It has nothing to do with wdfw, I-713 voter approve intiative trumps the wdfw so just like hound hunting cougars, the wdfw can use them, but the rest of us won't get to use em!

My question is were you a backwards thinking liberal when you lived on the Westside? Since you think we all are? As far as telling me to grow up, you should look in the mirror. YOU are the one that repeatedly makes these ignorant comments. You sound like a child.Your comments are even more ludicrous because you are from the Westside  I get sick of hearing your asinine comments about westsiders. I live on the Westside and I HATE wolves. So next time THINK before you post...

I was told their is "officially" 8 packs total with 3 "suspected" packs. All on the eastside.
