Went back for round 2 this morning with 3 shooters this time. Almost the same results as yesterday. Had a 3 man limit by 8:30! They weren't pouring onto the pond quite as hard as yesterday but had a constant stream of birds coming in. The fog really makes them commit, pretty impressive. Taking my 11 year old nephew in there tomorrow to see some action. He's not hunting, just along for the ride. He is doing hunters ed this spring/summer and I want him to go out and see some birds taken and the dog work, he's going to love it. Probably the last day I'll hunt all season so hopefully its as good as the last couple. Its been a great way to end the year.

sorry for the terrible pic, didn't realize it was blurry and REALLY tough to see the birds among the leaves.

Congrats! Lots of fun shooting there!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

So final day of the season for me I believe. Took my nephew Kobi out for his first duck hunt. It was brief to say the least, but he loved it and I think he's hooked! Bonus of the day was my first banded bird. Kobi thought that it was awesome and is super excited to hear it came from.

Just submitted it on the website, looks like it was banded on Sauvie Island, down on the Columbia back in 2010.

Man.....you are going to be hard pressed to have a repeat like your last few days. Awesome to say the least.
