Remington Model 11-87 with a Pattern Master choke.  Been my go to Waterfowl gun for years.  Hasn't failed me yet.

I grew up shooting pumps, then went to o/u's, and now I've settled on sxs's.   Never been into autos.  Been with guys duck hunting with them and they always seem to jam at the worst moment.   I really enjoy shooting exposed hammer guns, and have some from the 1880's to the 1930's.  I also like Lefevers, seen below.  Now that I'm in my late 40's,  I'd much rather shoot a few birds with a vintage gun than a limit with a plastic gun.  Just makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable for me.

Browning A500R

Nice. I am currently shooting my Browning A500g. Don't see many of them around. I used to use a Winchester SX2, but it ran into some problems...

All the shotguns I have kept have been 870's. Have won others at banquets, and have sold them.  Just got a 887 this fall, and like it well.

Beretta Urika 391 that is my primary waterfowl gun.
80% Honkers, 20% ducks
Have yet to find a need for a 3.5 in chamber.

Started out with nothin and still have most of that left.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

Winchester SX3. Haven't had a bad shell one and I've put a variety through it. Can't say the same for my buddies and their "better" Super Black Beagles....1 & 2's.

Fethrdusterm, you know how its done my friend. Im looking for a entry level sxs to swing on ducks, Ive got one of my Great granddads ithaca 12 sxs but my pops wont let me shoot it (its understandable). Might have to start out with a CZ sxs of somekind.

I remember your post about hunting with your dad and the great artwork you did. Really cool man, what a tribute.
The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

Thanks.  There's tons of great entry level sxs's out there for half the cost of a cz, although if you want to go new, a cz isn't a bad gun.  The used one's I'm seeing are mostly european, but some American guns too.   Drop me a pm when you're ready and I can hook you up.  I have an ffl also.
