Any must see stuff at the Puyallup sportsman's show?
« on: January 24, 2013, 07:04:08 PM »
I'm finally going to make it to the sports show this year.  I was looking at the list of vendors and looks like their is a lot to see.  I only have one day and would like to make the most of it.  Does anyone who's been there have any MUST SEE suggestions?

I went last year and was pretty disappointed. Maybe not a bad idea if you are in the market for a camper. Should be called the puyallup camper show.

Im going tomarrow morning.
First stop is Portland Marine electronics to test and tune my TR1 Autopilot before it goes in the new boat. Then talk to them about which new Lowrance HDS system Im buying from them while down at the Portland show on the 6th.

At 2 PM Ill be at the Lowrance learning center learning about all the new featurs and options. Gonna be great! Cant wait to have WIFI in my boat with IPADS as displays!

Between my PME stop and the Lowrance school Ill look at all the new bad ass rods and boat goodiess I want for my new boat!

Probably a lame show if you dont need or cant afford, but man Im excited since Im outfitting a new fishing machine!

Hopefully this thread will keep the crowds down for me. Lol

Head and Horns, that's the biggest reason I go.  And the over priced beer.

I hear ya on the expensive beer, but I like to visit with the pretty sales girls too. I can't get me to talk to me anywhere else ;-)

I just checked the seminar schedule online, they don't have any Lowrance Learning center scheduled for Friday.  They do for today (and did yesterday), but nothing for tomorrow.  Maybe a typo, but you might want to double check.  I'm looking hard at this stuff as well for my boat - if I can't make the show I'd like to bend your ear about it to see what you learned.

Check out Scott at Miller Ranch, good guy. And good place to go for all sorts of hunting. We have a big group that goes to the Ranch every year, and well worth it.
Is it waterfowl season yet..............

Its kinda hidden under the "steelhead river" schedule.
