My wife's the baker, I do 98% of all the rest of the cooking and grocery shopping.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

When I was married about 50/50 now single 100%. I love to cook and have since I was young. Love tastes and textures and developing layers of flavors.

 :yeah:

If it doesn't have a recipe and go in the oven my wife doesn't cook it.  I cook almost all the time.

I'd say the ex cooked 75-80% of the time... but that's because he couldn't keep his mouth shut about how I cooked or how I should have cooked...  :bdid: The last straw was when he told me how I "should" have cooked the KRAFT mac n cheese... I told him he earned himself 100% cooking rights and I hardly cooked after that.   :chuckle:

Now I'm cooking all the time again and I love it! I guess I forgot how much I really enjoy it and how good it feels when people appreciate your good cookin!

I think it's awesome how many men actually do a majority of the cooking!

I would say my wife and I pretty much split the cooking duties 50-50 or somewhere very close.  It kinda depends on what we are eating, she's better at some things and I'm better at others.  We both love to cook though.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I would love to build my wifes confidence with cooking.  Seriously....she is a horrible cook if it does not have a recipe.  I would love it if we cooked more together.  The nice part is she will clean up after dinner about 75% of the time.

My wife can't cook without a recipe at all; won't even try. If she cooks, it takes serious planning; reading the recipe, shopping specifically for the ingredients without ever looking to see if we already have them, and needing help with setting the oven to cook it. I have to do the shopping or she'll never check the flyer, use coupons, or compare the portion costs from one brand to another.

Except for the barbecue, it's all hers.
We have an understanding.  She provides for and prepares all the meal related stuff of which 95% of that is dinner since breakfast/lunch are a fend for ourselves deal, except weekends which she does do.
I in turn, do 100% of the horse related stuff for our 5 manure recyclers.  The buying of the hay, the grain, the supplements, the vet care, the farrier, the barn cleaning, etc, etc.....

We go out dinner about 5-6 times a month.  It's my plastic that hits the deck.   :chuckle:
I think i got the short end of the deal.  She thinks she has the short end of the deal.  Therefore, it's mutual.  :chuckle:
So, and due to the plastic, I'll call me an occasionally.

We are about 50/50. We cook together. It is usually cooked on the smoker. Meats, veggies, pizza. We love our Traeger. She usually prepares the salads/sides and does the cleanup. I love my wife and make sure she knows it while she is doing the dishes. I busy myself sharpening knives or something. :chuckle:

I chose the last option  :chuckle: :chuckle:  the reason why is because,.. well If I cook,.. that would be like murdering my whole family.  lol  my wife is an amazing cook.  so far everything she's cooked was amazing,. just perfect.  I never complain.   however,.. the bbq grill is mine,.. I grill everything. but my wife does the marinating.
