I ran into 4 big toms last year during early archery elk season. So will they be in the same area this year? General area if still alive?

In my experience, the turkeys will be MUCH lower during the spring, and by early fall will be scattered but usually higher.

IMHO, the odds of finding them in the spring where you saw them in the fall isn't too good....   especially if you were mid to high elevation when you saw them.
