fallaway rest

Well i have a very trophy taker fall away rest but am thinking of getting a different one.

im thinking of geting the limbsaver fall away rest but am open to other options.....

does anyone have an idea of what would the best rest to get and why? or maybe i should just stay with my rest that i have?

what do you guys think?

If it is working fine for you I would leave it alone, I use a QAD that I really like and works well for me

If it works fine I would leave it a lone too.

I use the Mathews HD2 convertible fall away and it works good for me.  I like the Harmonic dampeners in it.

Trophy Taker is a great rest.... wouldn't change it.

Trophy Ridge Guide Series Dropzone with the whisper kit is what I have on my Truth 2. Never had an arrow fall off, and it drops fast enough for the speed of the Truth 2...

I would stick with the Trophy Taker it has served me well for 5 years, simple and dependable but but if you're set on a change the Sims would be my choice.

Stick with the Trophy Taker!!!  I still have one of the original ones (well over 10 years old) and still wouldnt trade it for anything.  It was so long ago that I had to special order it from Mr. Evans himself because none of the shops around here carried or even knew about them.

Spot Hogg Whammy!  Best fall away on the market!  IMO... Used the trophy taker for 4 years and loved it but the whammy is definetly a better solution!  Drops 5x faster and stays in the upright postion at all times so if the cord breaks you can still shoot it as a prong rest.

I have a QAD Ultra Rest HD on my new bow and this thing is awesome,I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fallaway rest with the added security of fully containing your arrow.I had A Trophy Ridge Drop Zone and loved it ,great rest,but put them side by side I would take the QAD hands down.

Just switched from a NAP fall away to a TT Shakey Hunter recently.  I like it for the simplicity and the fact that it is well made.

I'm not sure anyone has asked, but what has prompted you to switch?  Are you have issues?  maybe we can dial you in with the rest you have.

What archery288 said plus those trophy takers didn't look as durable to me as the Spot Hogg Whammy. I believe if you go to their website you can see a video of how this rest is different from the typical fallaway rests.

I would stick with the Trophy Taker, they are virtually indestructable. No set screws to come loose, prongs to bend. JMHO

The Whammy is no-doubt a great rest.  Those guys make great products.  The Trophy Taker rests are also of excellent quality, as are NAP and others.  It comes down to personal preference and what works best with your set-up and shooting style.

Just saw the post. I have been shooting the limbsaver along with their bow. The rest is good but could use some reference lines to tell how much you are moving it. I had to scratch some marks on it so I had some reference.
