I'll be watching this one.  I've been having trouble finding a good snow pattern in 4XL Tall or that does not have some stupid logo or picture on the front.   I like those that you have posted but the don't come in my size.

I use Gamehide's naked north over suits.  wear whatever you want to stay warm and put them over the top.  i paid like 55 bucks for the top and pants.  i didn't want to spend a butt load on fancy snow camo and these work extremely well and are VERY quiet.

If varmint hunting I actually like Tyvek painters coveralls.  Unless hunting includes a lot of brush busting they work quite well.  Varmint hunting in the snow usually means I'm not busting brush or heading too far from the rig.  Fairly good water proofing and when I'm done for the day I just throw them in the trash.  Buy a case at a time for about $5.00 a piece.  You can use a can of grey & black primer if you want to add texture.

I rarely go cheap on hunting clothing.  But since I only hunt the snow once in a while and it's usually for varmints that's what I do.

If hunting is going to require some brush busting and distance humping I use the Sitka Forest.  It's surprising how well the white and light grey blends in the snow.  Especially if you have a few evergreens around you.  This embarrassingly small , but extremely good tasting BC whitetail looked right through me at 30 yards before I dropped the hammer on him.  Not the typical snow garb, but I like it and it seems to work fine.

Old girlfriend had some Mossy Oak snow camo nighty that looked pretty good.

I was in a pinch last year. The leg zippers had broke on my bibs two days before the late hunt so I broke down and bought some snow camo bibs.

5 days later I got blood on them.    Hard to tell from the pic...you can only see my knee but that's what I was wearing. I love them....reversable too.

I use Kings snow camo. I like it. I also have used Tyvec suits, when in all white. I like the Natural gear stuff as well my buddy has some and it looks good.

I think you misread me,  I have coverups that go over regular camo and was inquiring if anyone was using the cabelas camo.

I have that same top, it's a thin cotton coverup and it's not too bad I'll agree.  The pockets on mine are mostly ripped out.

Yes. It is cabelas snow camo I used last year. It blended in well and kept me warm. It only got down to about 20 degrees though.

I have nothing but good things to say about it.....but I only have the bibs.

I have another one from sport-co that is nylon and has a fleece inner lining, pockets are starting to separate, its been through the ringer and still holding up except for the pockets

You can always throw a Tyvek jacket or suit in your pack in case you need to sit on solid white.

Gasman - I used that same outfit a couple of times.  Played heck with my bowstring as all the Gamehide stuff has large fluffy arms for my taste.  I ended up using so much electrical tape getting the material out of the way of my string it took me 15 minutes to get the jacket off.  You definitely disappear in the stuff though.  That picture makes me laugh.  All I can think of is the Stay Puff marshmallow man must have fell in a pile of sticks and leaves.  I like it   Looks nasty cold - Brrrrr!

I seen some ravens and went to investigate and ended up wading through an elk carcass that was nutt deep in snow with a fresh layer of powder snow on top.
I got rotten elk funk all over my pants 

stunk when I got back in the truck and started thawing out

Look for a bright red sphere, once you find that the rest will slowly fade into view.
Try to not focus directly on the sphere once you find it,  use your peripheral vision that'll help.
