Love the antlers arteman! You're right, it starts with spending time in the woods, but knowing wherethe animals are when they shed is key. Keep posting your bounty!!

Here it is compared.  Not a huge bull, but thought it was neat to have taken his pic last year, and then find his shed this year.

I bet there are some nice sheds laying around over there to be found, the one you found in MT was a stud.  Hope you can find it on the head this year later on.
