Isn't tomorrow the last day (of the season)?

What kind of eagle?

No today is the 27th and today is the last day! And it was a huge bald eagle! Wish I would've taken a pic of it

Went out yesterday and killed 7 ducks and 3 geese.  The next 8 months are going to suck!

Ended the season with 1 GWT in a late afternoon hunt because I was too lazy to get up early :chuckle:  A pretty anti-climatic ended to my season but I got to sleep in, didn't have to fight for a spot, and still got a chance at some birds.

OK, for me it was a marathon the last 3 days.  Hunted hard and it paid off.  Took a full days hunt Friday to get it done and 3/4 days Sat and Sun.  Friday and Saturday were hunting on the sound and today was hunting a pond on in a field.  All hunts were on public land.  The only field shots I have are from Fridays hunt.  Fridays take was 2 pintail, 1 wigeon, and 4 teal.  Saturdays limit was two pintail and 5 teal, Sundays limit was 2 pintail, 3 mallards and two teal.  The field pic's are from Friday, The one pic is a partial limit taken part way through the day.  I was tired enough that I just hung the birds from Saturday and will clean them with today's birds (also hanging now) this evening.

Me and my dogs are tired, but it's a good tired.  This weekend goes to show that there are good places to hunt on westside public land if your willing to go where others aren't because it is a little difficult to get to.  I will also say that the birds seemed well educated this weekend.  They definitely have been worked over this season and were not easy birds to decoy.

Got trapped between two skybusters

There's another one?   :dunno:

Today I targeted Wigeon, shot only Drakes, all feet down over the decoys.  Great way to end the Season.
