Do any of you guys use a treestand for blacktail? If you do have you had any success.
It works, especially with some judicious use of apples. You don't need to put out a lot.
The biggest problem with stand hunting (for some) is getting good penetration and blood trails from Wasp broadheads. I've heard they have problems with shots taken at to much of an angle.

The only way that I have found to be successful hunting out of a treestand for BT's is if you are using bait.
That Wasp makes such a little hole in an animal
Another Question. Is hunting more productive in the morning or evening when your in the stand
