Avian X Decoy
« on: January 30, 2013, 08:12:44 PM »
Are they worth the coin?  Currently using those inflatables, which I don't mind just a pain in the ass to move around with if inflated.  Bought them as my intro into turkey hunting and feel I've graduated to the next level...OK the real reason is I have the urge to buy gear  :chuckle:

Look at the DSD turkey decoys. Pretty expensive but worth it if your looking for a good decoy. My bro uses Avian X goose decoys and likes them alot.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

I am torn between the Avian x and the DSD's. I'm leaning more towards the DSD though.

I really like my avian x, can blow it up in less than one min, easily.  I think they are worth it.

I bought the avian-x jake and breeding hen package three years ago and there has been 7 toms and 5 jakes killed over them. Not all by my but friends and family. I use to hunt with the B Mobile from primos and i think the birds were a little intimidated by the full strutting tom so i droped back to using a jake with better detailed and have much more success. The responce i get out of the toms once they see that jake decoy is all i got to say is get ready.
Whack em and stack em

The avian x decoys have vreat detail and are very easy to use. The only downside I have found is their weight. We cover A LOT of ground and after a while it will get to you. Other than that I love mine!
