It's on again if anyone missed the last one.

$162, 4 hours left.

I think I paid $180 for mine last year, worth every penny.

Sooo tempting. Wish I hadn't just bought $1000 in furniture.

http://www.badlandspacks.com/gear.php?userChoice=2200

Badlands website says "Redesigned for 2013". They list the weight as 5 pounds, 4 ounces and 2900 cubic inches, while the Camofire site lists the weight as 6 pounds 4 ounces and 2200 cubic inches.

I wonder if Badlands really made it lighter and larger this year?

That seems odd. Maybe Camofire has a lot of last years model? Lighter and bigger is always good though if the new ones are those specs.

I have a question on these packs for those that have alot of experience with them. I was looking at these at Cabelas and noticed they do not have load lifters on the packs to help take the weight off of the shoulders and also to suck up the pack closer to the centerline of your back. Other then that I like the pack. All of my packs day and overnight packs have the load lifters so how is the weight distribution on these. Much shoulder weight? Does it pull away from your back with heavy loads forcing you to pull the shoulder straps real tight? How much difference will I notice? I am looking for an all in one hiking day pack with or without camera gear and a hunting pack. My buddy just got a Tenzig and that looks pretty nice too.
