Bear in a tree pics
« on: September 26, 2008, 09:29:47 AM »
Couple of pics I took this year bow hunting for elk. Must have spooked this guy, as I heard him or her climb a tree. Probably weighed between 80-100 lbs, not real big. Since I have already killed a bear with a bow, I wasn't to particularly intrested in shooting a small one, packing it out 6 miles and wasting 2 days of elk time. Snapped some photo's instead.

Nice.  My same attitude towards the little shaggy buggers.

Good pics, I have a hard time not shooting bears when they are that close... :chuckle:
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
