I heard a rumor that bushnell might buy Martin.  :bash: Is that what your talking about?

Sorry, it was bushnell, not easton.

Nope! Definitely not talking about Martin or Bushnell.  And, I'm pretty sure that rumor about Bushnell and Martin is a load of horse pucky.  But, hey!  Let's run with that ;)  Bonjour  :chuckle:

Easton/Hoyt/Martin all together?  Makes no sense to me.  Then they could all go down in flames at the same time ;)  I have to believe the Easton folks are a bit smarter than that :dunno:

Not going out of business.  They rocked since Sandy Hook.  Gun sale numbers were OMG good.

I've heard it got out at the Sportsman's show so I guess it's ok.  Wholesale Sports sold all 14 stores back to Sportman's Warehouse.

Guess the Canadians don't like Obamacare!  And if they are going to do business in a Socialist goverment why not stay in Canada :dunno:  When they bought those stores the American dollar was worth more than the Canadian dollar.  Not so anymore.  Glad most of the workers are still going to have their jobs, but dang!  Hope and Change ain't working out too good.  Dominos are starting to roll in the archery industry.  Wonder how long it will take the asian auto industry to start moving back to Japan?  Not long I'd expect.  Sure hope American workers can hold out another four years.

I hear we might have news about Martin Archery here soon too.  Sure hope they don't screw it up again.

I forgot to mention - Wholesale Sports will retain ownership of all 11 Canadian locations.

I'd like to think a family-owned business would stay in the family in such a small industry.  The Martin family members I know and others I have met are very good people.  A sell-out to a big payday would surprise me, but, after all, it's not Canada, so anything is possible.
