Probably stemmed from the archery world record that the governors tag holder killed last year. I think he only payed 300k. Only

Would have to be a Missouri River Breaks tag for that price.

I ran into a very accomplished lady hunter at a bar in central MT, her lady friend had one of the breaks sheep tags and they had been hunting hard for what they figured was a world record sheep they had seen. Very possible this is the sheep or one of the sheep that prompted the high auction price.

Governors tag so where ever but got to be headed for the breaks for that money. That's where the monsters are.
