Here's a picture if the one that got away.  I was offered this brit to be my hunting dog when she was 4 months old because she was too orange and too small for the field trial circuit.  The trainer nicknamed her "midge" short for Midget because of her size.  A quick phone call too my dad and she was heading across country to her new home in the NW.   2 summers ago when my dad dropped her back off with the trai Ed for summer camp in SD it didn't take long to realize we all screwed up, and my dad is one lucky SOB.  See, little Midge grew into her body and decided she LOVED to run and point birds from ridiculously far away.  The first call I got from the trainer was about 3 weeks after camp had started.  She was hanging at 800-900 yards on the GPS and handling like a charm.  It killed the trainer to have to bring her in.  She would have made an awesome All Age dog and would have most likely had a great trial career.  Oops!   Now she's a perfect house dog and a hell of a foot hunting dog.  But occasionally, she still shows that she wants to lay it down.  I
