I answered this question in the other thread, but there is no closed season, so open year around. When your license expires, buy a new one, and continue hunting.

Yes, feel free to hunt is ok to hunt for coyotes. Hunting hours, you can ignore. Hunt at night with a spotlight if you wish. Except during modern firearm deer and elk seasons. You must adhere to the "half you're before sunrise" to "half hour after sunset" rule.

Go out into farm land, meet a few farmers, especially ones with livestock. They "usually" won't mind you hunting yotes. if your free, and got a buddy,Ehrata is having a coyote roundup this weekend. We did the Warden one this last weekend. Alot of dogs shot.Or go torwards the Palouses,Im sure theirs dogs out there. One word of advice I learned from this weekend, buy one or 2 GOOD spotlights, and make sure they have car chargers.
Is it waterfowl season yet..............

Feel Free to Hunt land is private land, not state.

A lot of the ground going down threw by the palouse is posted, can't think of the hiway now,but it takes off south to Lyons ferry from kalotus  washtucna hiway, been trying for years to get in but its leased hunting & pretty strict about it.
Green is feel free to hunt, but I did have one farmer tell me he didn't want coydotes shot. If u dont want ur land hunted, take the point lose in crp points & post it that way. The way crp works is if they have feel free to hunt they get more points and more money, hunt with permission, a dock in points but still good money which most farmers do but then won't give permission. Which is bs. They have to give out so many permission to hunt slips a year, I know of one farmer who gives one to his dad, one to his mom, one to each boy (2 ther) and one to daughter (age 6). But none of them hunt. They do it to milkhi the syore money but still keep ther land private.Iblems respecting ur land rights, but dont put post as huntable then not let anyone in. nt s
Take'em boys!

Highway 26 off the left hand side (going east) has some feel free around Washtucna -- I think just before. That should hold some dogs as I've seen a couple while driving to school over in Pullman
