they survive by hitchhiking on shedhunters that cant give animals a break
Got a tick on me while I was shed hunting in SE Washington on the 17th of March and started getting sick on the 20th. I spent 7 hrs in the ER on the 27th. My blood results in the ER showed that my white blood cell count was below 1000 and It's supposed to be between 5000 to 11000. I'm still suffering from headaches, light sensitivity and just feeling exhausted all the time. My doctor told me that it sounded like reoccuring fever that is spread by ticks, but it could be a number of things that they carry. I've also went from 190 pounds to 170 in 9 days and I didn't have much room to lose any weight to begin with. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up and remind you to always check yourself for ticks when you're get back to camp or the truck. The funny thing was that we pulled 30 ticks off of my brother with one dug in and I had one on my hat and woke up with one dug in the back of my arm in the morning. Yet I'm the one who got the diseased tick?

I think I remember a post on here where you were making fun of someone warning you about ticks and you were finding the sheds and they weren't. Something along those lines anyways In all seriousness, I hope you get over your ails quickly.
