Big NT Whitetail
« on: April 01, 2013, 11:57:21 AM »
I went for a long hike on friday up high in search of mule deer antlers.
I only found 1 shed and thought it was a mule deer at first glance but after further inspection I saw it was one heck of a whitetail shed! He has 10 scorable points and is one of my biggest whitetail sheds.

My buddy Greg and I tried to find the other side, but the area is extremely brushy and we couldnt turn it up. :(

I could care less how long his arm is that is a VERY impressive WT antler.  Looks to be a year or two old and buck is probably still alive.  Would be a trophy of a lifetime!!!!

Killer shed man, nice!
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

The long arm comments crack me up. The first picture of it is it in the dirt. Did I long arm that one too?  :chuckle:
The shed is over a year old, but I am hoping he is still alive!

RoyBoy - it is 73 4/8" with only a 19" main beam and not much mass. I am hoping he has had a couple years now to fill out.
