Anybody ever hunt out by Wilkeson?
« on: February 04, 2013, 06:35:58 PM »
Was way deep in the forest out near Wilkeson shooting some trap and saw some fresh clear cuts and (potential berry fields in the spring) and some good bear grounds. Just curious if anyone hunts out there? Normally im over toward Greenwater way deep but was curious to this land?
This is the year im going to get drawn, i can feel it. NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED... damn :(

I dont, but have a buddy that bear and deer hunts up there. He tagged a monster bear a few years back while deer hunting.

He dont hunt up there as much now a days with all the tweekers that roam those woods. I my self ran in to a tweekers trailer last time I was up there but have not been back in a few years.
