My TBS House
« on: June 25, 2013, 01:19:48 PM »
Hey guys.
Been working on it the last couple days and it's getting closer. Still need the roof an chimney put on. A couple more pieces of angle iron to finish up the last 2 racks. Then she'll be done w/ almost 4000sq inches of cooking space. Here's a few pics.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

You should have your chimney near the floor. That way it wont vent unless its full of smoke. Otherwise that thing looks awesome.

The base of the cinder block has a 14x9 opening in the back.

All done except for the roof. My wife Dana asked me the other day. How many times do you have to season it before you can use it. I said until the roof gets on.  :yike: really! no no just kidding I just like watching smoke come out of it  :chuckle:

How do you access your pan?

As said above  there's 9x 14 in the bottom back. But also the bottom rack is 2 pieces so it slides and makes for real quick an easy access.
