I think you can.  You just have to use a really big 'arrow' to spear the bear.  It has to have the minimum weight and cutting edge.  I would say you probably need a bow with you that has min draw weight/etc.  Then just spear it with your 'arrow'.  I don't know that it says the 'arrow' actually has to be shot from the bow. ;)
Man, that bow would have to the size of a trebuchet to launch a spear that big lol!

Wait, is there size requirements for bows????????????? Hmmm
SUMMMER PROJECT
For crossbows >:( , but not other bows.
Its final, Im building a trebuchet to launch my 8 foot long.....arrow, with an 18 inch long, 4 inch wide "broadhead".. .

Oh yes, I can see it now.

How does bear taste? I hear only 20% of the meat is usable anyways.

I love bear meat and eat all of the animal that's not guts hide sinew or fat. Not sure who told you only 20% is good. If you want to believe them give the other 80% to me haha.

I gotta hand it to ya smossy I think you're a good dude had you're issues in the past as you've said but if the state lets you try and spear a bear and you try and the bear wins rest assured ill tell everyone you had cajones made of steel the size of coconuts  :chuckle:  but seriously take your lady up on her request in the mean time practice makes perfect

Its just what I've read on some places, Like I said the internet is so full of contradicting information that I don't even like to look some stuff up anymore.
Lol My girl always wants babies! I tell her not until I'm established enough in life to be comfortable. I don't want to raise no kids in a bad environment.
